Galle, in former Ceylon

31 Mar

We started our volonteer-project in Sri Lanka near Galle. Max teaching kid-monks and Pauke in a local orphanage. The kids come along and help out. In the afternoon time off to visit this little fortess-town. A lot of Dutch heritage in town to find.

Cambodia, Phnom Penh: Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda

Still the living grouds of the Royal family. The king was not home that day though…no coffee.

 And by night…

The king all blinged up in lights and Wat Ounalom.

Great ride, good guide telling us about architecture in the city and taking us into back alleys and talked about the Golden Age of architecture in Cambodia, the 60’s passionately.
